People often think being a hairstylist is simply about cutting, coloring, and styling hair. While those services are an important part of what we do, they are only a small part of the role we have the privilege of holding in our clients’ lives. We are artists, but we are also confidence builders. Every person who sits in our chair brings more than their hair with them. They bring celebrations, insecurities, worries, life changes, and sometimes the weight of a difficult season

People often ask me why I decided to open my own salon. The easy answer is because I wanted to own a business. The honest answer is because I wanted to build something that I couldn't find. Before I ever picked up a pair of shears, I worked at a hospital for seven years as a RPSGT while going to school to pursue a career in nursing. I loved caring for people, but there was always a creative part of me that felt like it was waiting to come alive. Hair gave me that opportunity
